To measure for bangles, touch the your thumb and pinky together and measure the distance from your pinky knuckle to your index finger knuckle. For accurate results, do not include any excess skin folds in the measurement. The inches across your knuckles is the size you should choose. For example, If your knuckles measure 2.5 in., you should choose the M size.

14k Gold Filled material is composed of a layer of 14k gold mechanically bonded to a base metal. This bonding can cause it to look slightly redder when placed next to a solid gold. It is better than gold plate; gold filled materials have a thicker layer of gold. It will not cause an allergic reaction to skin sensitive to base metals. However, everyone's body chemistry is different, and some with high acidity can cause gold filled materials to discolor skin. It is also tarnish resistant. With that said, small areas where the core is exposed or has been soldered may tarnish. This tarnish can be cleaned up with a soft toothbrush or non abrasive jewelry polishing cloth. My jewelry is hand made with care to stand the test of time. Many customers wear their jewelry 24/7 without issue, but I always recommend removing jewelry before exposing it to liquids or while preforming any strenuous activities. Examples include swimming, washing the dishes, playing sports, putting on lotions or perfumes, etc.

To keep your jewelry clean, I recommend using a non abrasive jewelry polishing cloth or a soft, old toothbrush. I personally use a Sunshine brand polishing cloth, but an old T-Shirt can work in a pinch! Tarnish happens naturally, and these methods can easily remove any discoloration. However, please keep in mind that polishing oxidized sterling silver styles will remove any intentional patina that I have added.
