Hello and welcome to the Whitney Banks Jewelry blog. As I build this website and refine my brand, I will be updating this blog with various articles and commentaries on my process. Topics will include jewelry design, opinions on subjects such as ‘fast fashion’, information on gemstones, artist features, and whatever else comes across while I continue to grow as a jeweler with an online jewelry business. I think this blog will give fans of Whitney Banks Jewelry an insight to how my jewelry is created and why it may resonate with them.

I’m launching this website as I’m beginning a new chapter in my life as a small business owner. I’ve been chronicling the behind the scenes moments of my silversmithing on social media sites instagram, facebook, tumblr, twitter, and pinterest since several months before my etsy launch in September of 2015. Now, I can add this blog to that list!

In the past month I’ve started a collaboration with Dahlia Davidson of ED Designs. This will dominate my time for a while! I’m so excited to be doing this collaboration and look forward to sharing the progress with you. Working with Dahlia is inspiring and fun.
